A senior staffer at Time Inc.’s InStyle magazine is following former editorial director Ariel Foxman out the door.

Angela Matusik, a deputy editor to Foxman, headed InStyle.com and was most recently the head of branded content strategy for the magazine. She announced on social media Thursday that she would quit the magazine later this month.

Personal news from me — I'm grateful, excited and looking forward to what's next. https://t.co/HoBPXNAz8M

Matusik was rumored to be a potential interim editor-in-chief after Foxman said in July that his last day would be Thursday. Instead, the interim job went to Lisa Arbetter, who was running StyleWatch.

Arbetter now will do double duty running both magazines, while Time Inc. searches for a permanent replacement for Foxman.

“I’m sure many of you have heard about the restructuring at Time Inc., but I want to personally share my news with you,” Matusik posted on Facebook. “After three exciting, fun and glitter-filled years at InStyle and InStyle.com, I will be leaving the stylish 9th floor of 225 Liberty on August 16th.

“I am so incredibly grateful to Ariel Foxman, who gave me this opportunity, and who has been the best boss, leader and friend one could hope for,” she continued.
