Jon Stewart mocked the capture of Venezuelan dictator Nicolás Maduro, joking that he was “reverse-ICEd” and “imported” to the United States.
During “The Daily Show” on Monday, the funnyman put Maduro’s dramatic capture in the context of recent months’ deportations of hundreds of thousands of illegal immigrants.
“He was actually imported to a jail in Brooklyn!” Stewart said of Maduro. “But don’t feel bad for him, he was a feared and cruel dictator.”

“Bobby McFerrin karaoke? You monster,” the late-night comedian quipped.
Earlier in the show, he discussed the special US operation that “removed a dangerous foreign dictator from power.”
When a photo of Saudi Arabian Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman holding President Trump’s hand popped up on the screen, Stewart said: “Not that one.”
“They’re actually friends and, quite frankly, I think business partners,” the host continued as the audience burst into laughter.
Then he displayed an image of Russian President Vladimir Putin and Trump shaking hands and laughing, adding: “No, no, they’re also quite close.”
Remarking on a photo of Trump with North Korean dictator Kim Jong Un, Stewart said: “Okay, um, I believe these two have more of a ‘Heated Rivalry’ vibe, you know what I mean?”

But his iron rule in a-cappella terror came to an end on Friday night when US special forces raided Caracas, Venezuela’s only city, as far as we know.”

Authorities “snatched” Maduro from his bedroom “before he could even take off his sleep mask,” Stewart joked, as he displayed a photo of Maduro blindfolded.
“His Oura ring must have been like, ‘You had a bad night,’” Stewart joked. “And as it unfolded, Donald Trump was overseeing it all from a secure location, the situation tent at Mar-a-Lago.”

“I don’t want to be a d–k or a nitpicker, but is this the most secure location in Mar-a-Lago? Behind the curtain you throw up in front of the catering kitchen?” Stewart said.
