The unsolved 20-year-old murder of 6-year-old JonBenét Ramsey turned into ratings gold for the joint production put together by American Media CEO David Pecker, Harvey Weinstein’s Weinstein Television and Jupiter Entertainment for the Discovery Channel.

“JonBenét: An American Murder Mystery” aired Monday to Wednesday of last week at 10 p.m. and became the most-watched series in the history of Discovery Communications, averaging 2.6 million viewers.
