The Web hosting company behind the newly revived “Daily Stormer” site suffered connectivity issues Thursday when it was hit with a distributed denial of service attack.

DreamHost posted online that its engineers confirmed the attack — in which an online computer system is flooded with outside traffic — before restoring service.

Earlier in the day, the company was revealed to be hosting punishedstormer.com, a new version of the notorious neo-Nazi and white supremacist site Daily Stormer.

Earlier this month, the GoDaddy Web hosting company announced it would no longer provide its services to the Daily Stormer following publication of an article that mocked a victim killed during clashes that erupted during a “Unite the Right” rally in Charlottesville, Va..
