Erika Lenkert, the founder of GFF: Gluten Free Forever, a small magazine which got its start on Kickstarter in 2014, just got a big hand.
Publishing giant Meredith Corp., publisher of AllRecipes and Better Homes & Gardens, said that beginning with GFF’s spring issue, it will lead advertising and sales for the quarterly.
GFF will retain its bookazine, high-end format, charging $9.99 a copy for the recipe-heavy magazine that will have 250,000 copies distributed nationally.
The title “fits into our portfolio of wellness-minded publications” said Meredith Group Editorial Content Director Doug Kouma.
Lenkert and staff will continue to run editorial from San Francisco.
