Scott Flanders, the Playboy CEO at the helm when the men’s mag ditched nude photos earlier this year, is exiting Playboy Enterprises to become CEO of eHealth Inc., a health insurance exchange.
Ben Kohn, managing partner of Rizvi Traverse, the private equity firm that took over majority control from founder Hugh Hefner in 2011, will become interim CEO.
Flanders had been CEO since 2009.
“Scott and his team have done a remarkable job of transforming Playboy into a modern global lifestyle brand,” said Kohn.
Flanders said, “I know that I leave the company in great hands…”
