Magazine publisher Hibert Publishing is selling Westchester Family and Colorado Parent.

“I’m getting out of the publishing business and doing other things,” said CEO Gary Hibert, who took over the magazines four years ago.

Locally, Les Goodstein’s CNG is snapping up the Rye, NY-based Westchester Family, which has a circulation of 35,000.

“It fits perfectly with all our family publication titles,” said Goodstein, whose company publishes 20 weekly papers across the city.

Editor-in-chief Jean Sheff and her five-person staff are expected to remain at the Westchester monthly.

Hibert is selling Colorado Parent to 5280 Publishing, the owner of 5280 Magazine.
