Rumors were swirling at presstime that Rodale Editorial Director Michael Lafavore was exiting the family owned publishing empire of Prevention, Runner’s World and Men’s Health.

The one-time editor-in-chief of Men’s Health, who left in 2000 only to be wooed back in September 2015 by current CEO Maria Rodale, engineered a series of shake-ups that rankled some of the survivors.

Lafavore and a Rodale spokesperson had not returned a call by presstime.
