Sandra Lee appears to be fully recovered from health problems as she has resumed a more robust work schedule.
This week, she debuts a food column for TV Guide called Sandra Lee Favorites.
The 50-year-old TV chef and author is also putting together a proposal for a new business book and confided that Sony has optioned her memoir, “Made from Scratch,” for a movie.
The 2007 book does not mention her relationship with New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo, whom she started dating in 2005.
Lee recovered from a double mastectomy last year.
Her new book is not yet ready to present to potential publishers — she told Media Ink, “I’ve only just begun the outline.”
Her TV Guide column, debuting Sept. 30, marks a return to the publication that at one time had put out her Sandra Lee magazine.
Paul Turcotte, president of TV Guide, acknowledged it was a coup to get her back in its pages.
“It’s a strategic partnership,” he said, conceding that Lee is doing it for no fee.
The celebrity chef, whose trademark is mixing fresh food with packaged goods, is a judge on the Food Network’s “The Baking Championship.”
In her own magazine, priced at $7.99, she said each edition is treated as if it is a special-interest publication.
“My health is good,” she said. “I have all my energy back. I won’t be touring the country as I used to, but I am very happy to be back at work.”
