Tamron Hall, a regular fill-in host on the “Today” show, has officially been named co-host of the NBC morning program’s 9 a.m. hour.
She joined Al Roker, Natalie Morales and Willie Geist on Monday in helming the third hour of “Today.”
Hall’s recent interviews for “Today” include Hugh Jackman, Mariah Carey, and Instagram CEO Kevin Systrom, and she has contributed to the Orange Room, the show’s social media hub.
She also hosts “NewsNation” on MSNBC (weekdays, 11 a.m.), which launched in 2010, and hosts “Deadline: Crime with Tamron Hall” on Investigation Discovery and “Sister Wives” on TLC.
