A HALLADAY FROM THE PLAYOFFS
Roy Halladay is 32 years old. He plays for a Toronto team that has never made the playoffs while Halladay has been there and almost certainly will not in the 1 1-2 left on his contract. It is a major reason Halladay has almost certainly let the Blue Jays know he would not mind being sent to a contender. After all, he does not want to have his peak years run out without ever experiencing the postseason.
Halladay has nine years and 148 days of service time at the All-Star break. He actually ranks 10th among all active players in service time without ever reaching the postseason.
If you would like to play along on our quiz can you name the nine ahead of Halladay (remember the DL counts)? I will post the answer around 5 p.m.
