BOSTON — The Fenway faithful will have to wait to get a chance to go after Alex Rodriguez.

Rodriguez wasn’t in the Yankees lineup for Friday night’s series opener against the Red Sox.

The DH said he was fine physically. Rodriguez is 3-for-12 against Boston right-hander Justin Masterson.
