CHICAGO — Alex Rodriguez will take a day off from the field in his second game back for the Yankees.

A-Rod will DH and hit third, after batting cleanup and playing third base Monday when he went 1-for-4 in his 2013 debut — an 8-1 loss to the White Sox. Jayson Nix will play third instead and David Adams will play first base.
