Alex Rodriguez took only baseball questions today in a media session that lasted less than a minute, unwilling to answer anything FBI- or Anthony Galea-related.

Rodriguez, who reportedly will meet with the FBI about Galea on Friday in Buffalo, did say he would be in Yankees camp tomorrow and would play. He’s also in tonight’s lineup against the Nationals.

Asked if he was excused from spring training for any days this week, Rodriguez said, “Just baseball questions.”

As for whether he’ll be playing tomorrow or Friday, he replied, “So far, so good. Well, I’m definitely playing tomorrow.”

Presumably, Rodriguez will have to be excused from camp Friday for his summit. He also will have to speak to Major League Baseball at some point after his FBI meeting, though it’s unknown when that will be.
