Aaron Judge might be willing to play center field, but the Yankees aren’t about to consider the possibility.

The Yankees right fielder volunteered to make the switch over the weekend in a chat with TMZ at the Super Bowl. Judge was asked if he would be willing to change positions for Bryce Harper.

Manager Aaron Boone on Tuesday seemed amused by the thought of Judge becoming the team’s center fielder.

“I think that was Judgy just having some fun at the Super Bowl,” Boone said at the annual Thurman Munson awards dinner. “Judgy would do a lot of things for the team, but I don’t know. I think that was probably just him pressed in the corner at the Super Bowl. He gave a good answer, but I don’t think we’re going to have to worry about that. I don’t think that scenario is a realistic one at this point.”
