Stop us if you’ve heard this before: Aaron Judge homered again.
Judge went deep for a fourth straight game, hitting his 55th of the season in the bottom of the fourth inning of the Yankees’ 5-4, 12-inning win over the Twins in the first game of Wednesday’s doubleheader against the Twins at Yankee Stadium.
The homer to left led off the inning and cut the Yankees’ deficit to 3-1.
It’s the second time in his career Judge has homered in four consecutive games. He also did it in five straight games in 2020.
He’s now just six homers shy of Roger Maris’ American League — and franchise — record of 61.
