Aaron Judge was aware who the Royals’ starting pitcher is Friday night, but it had nothing to do with him looking to get revenge.

“[Jakob] Junis,’’ Judge said of the Royals’ right-hander who hit him in his right wrist last July 26, causing a chip fracture that cost the outfielder 45 games and the Yankees any chance of catching the Red Sox in the AL East.

At the time of the injury, the Yankees were 4 ½ games back of the Red Sox. They finished eight lengths out.

While hard-core Yankees fans will greet Junis (1-1, 6.14 ERA) with a Bronx cheer for hitting Judge, he doesn’t hold a grudge.

“He hit me but that is part of the game. It cost me a while but it is part of the game,’’ Judge said. “It was nothing intentional. It was up and in and a two-seamer like he has, it got away.’’

Judge, who went 1-for-4 in the Yankees’ 6-1 loss to the Royals on Thursday night at the Stadium, is 2-for-7 with a homer and two RBIs against Junis.
