Alfredo Aceves worked two perfect innings for Trenton (Double-A) last night in his second rehab outing. He fanned one Harrisburg batter.

“Of course I am happy because I didn’t feel anything in my back and that’s the important thing,” said Aceves, who has been on the disabled list since May with a lower back problem. “I feel like I could play again. I am probably going to stay (in Trenton) for five or six days and get another start, maybe two.”

The Yankees signed their second and third round picks in the June draft.

Angelo Gumbs, a shortstop from Torrance (California) High School taken in the second round, signed for $750,000. Robert Segedin, a third baseman from Tulane selected in the third round, received $377,500.

Players with college eligibility have to be signed by Monday or the club loses the rights to them.

The Yankees’ highest draft pick that hasn’t signed is fourth-rounder Mason Williams, a center fielder from West Orange (Florida) High School.
