St. Louis’ Albert Pujols turned back the clock Sunday.

The 42-year-old hit two home runs and drove in four runs as the DH to help lift the Cardinals over the Brewers, 6-3. 

Winning on Sunday was crucial for Pujols, who is in the midst of his retirement tour after over 20 seasons in the majors, and St. Louis.

With the victory, the Cardinals retain their first-place spot in the NL Central, albeit just 1.5 games ahead of Milwaukee.

Sunday’s dingers increased Pujols’ season home run total to 10, and moved his career homer total to 689 — now just seven shy of Alex Rodriguez for fourth on the all-time list.

The three-time MVP winner returned to St. Louis for his final season after spending a decade in Los Angeles with both the Angels and Dodgers.
