WASHINGTON — The Mets’ 2017 schedule features an AL West flavor in interleague play.

Some highlights of the schedule, which was released Wednesday by the team: Opening Day is April 3 against the Braves at Citi Field. The Subway Series will be Aug. 14-17, with the first two games at Yankee Stadium and the final two at Citi Field, and the Mets will also face the Rangers, Astros, Angels, Mariners and Athletics in interleague.

The Mets are home on Memorial Day and Labor Day, to face the Brewers and Phillies, respectively. A key homestand could come from June 12-18, when the Mets will play seven games against the Cubs and Nationals.

Other highlights: The Mets will visit the Braves’ new home, SunTrust Park, for the first time May 1-4. For the second straight year the Mets will conclude the regular season on the road in Philadelphia.
