Quick updates for you on two Met outfielders. . . .
Moises Alou played his first rehab game today, getting two hits, including a homer, for the Gulf Coast League Mets. Alou’s going to play tomorrow too for Gulf Coast.
Asked if Alou could be with the team by the end of the week, Willie Randolph said, “At this point, I’m not even optimistic or pessimistic about where he is.”
Meanwhile, Lastings Milledge is in the two-hole tonight.
The Mets are also missing Damion Easley, who’s away from the team tonight due to a family illness.
