The Mets made several expected roster moves today, activating outfielder Moises Alou and outfielder/infielder Marlon Anderson from the 15-day disabled list, placing outfielder Ryan Church on the DL (retroactive to June 6) with post-concussion syndrome and designating third catcher Raul Casanova for assignment.

Alou was placed on the DL May 22 with a strained left calf. He is hitting .340 (16-for-47) with two doubles and seven RBIs in 14 games.

Anderson was placed on the DL May 24 with a torn left hamstring (lower leg). He is batting .167 (9-for-54) with two doubles, one homer and three RBIs in 38 games.

Casanova was hitting .273 (15-for-55) with two doubles, one homer and six RBIs in 20 games. He began the year with the Mets before he was designated for assignment May 9.
