The fans cleared out, the sun came up and fans returned, as baseball turned to football.
It was a busy weekend at the O.co Coliseum, as the last remaining dual-purpose MLB/NFL stadium played host for A’s and Raiders games on consecutive days.
After the A’s tied their ALDS series with the Tigers on Saturday, the stadium underwent an overnight transformation to prepare for the Raiders’ night game, which was pushed back from 4 p.m. start to 11:35 p.m., eastern time. That transformation was captured in the above video.
The Raiders even helped make the weekend memorable, with a 27-17 upset of the Chargers.
