Oakland A’s closer Liam Hendriks blasted the neighboring Warriors for treating the baseball club “like s–t,” and is thrilled Steph Curry and Co. are moving to a newly built arena in downtown San Francisco for the coming season.

“When the Warriors sucked and the A’s were good, the A’s would give them tickets,” Hendriks told The Athletic. “When the Warriors became good they decided to cut all ties and become a–holes. So, no love lost for them leaving.”

Hendriks arrived in Oakland prior to the 2016 season. At that point, the Warriors had just won the first of three NBA titles this decade.

“They treated us like s–t over here, so we don’t care for them much,” he said.

Hendriks said he once wasn’t let out of a parking lot because a Warriors security guard told him, “I’m not as important as a player for the A’s as a fan for the Warriors.”

With the Warriors leaving this season and the Raiders bound for Las Vegas in 2020, the A’s soon will be the only professional team in Oakland.
