Storms on the South Side of Chicago pushed Game 4 between the White Sox and Astros to Tuesday. Chicago’s Ryan Tepera used the day off to push Houston’s buttons: “They obviously have a reputation of doing sketchy stuff over there. You saw the swings and misses compared to the games at Minute Maid.”

Are the Asterisks up to their old tricks? Found a more efficient way of bending the rules? I’m not even sure Dusty Baker knows. What we do know is that the Sox’s Carlos Rodon, scheduled to pitch against Jose Urquidy, will now be matched against Lance McCullers. The Astros ace is now 2-2 in the postseason after throwing a 6 ²/₃-inning shutout in Game 1. Rodon (13-5), who hasn’t pitched in nearly two weeks, will be making his first ever postseason start. He one-hit the Reds for five frames on Sept. 29. Well rested … or too much rest? We will take the buzzer-beaters … err, the Astros, for 10 units.

Cold Brews. Ian Anderson allowed three hits over five innings, Joc Pederson hit a three-run homer, and the Bravos won, 3-0. Down -648 aspromontes.
