Mets players won’t let jammed fingers keep them down for long.

Jason Bay is back in the Mets lineup Monday night for the start of a three-game series with the Braves in Atlanta. The left fielder missed Sunday’s 8-2 loss to the Phillies after jamming his right ring finger sliding back into first base after getting caught in a rundown Saturday.

David Wright returned Saturday after sitting out two games with a broken pinkie finger suffered in a similar fashion.

Bay will bat fifth, according to the Mets Twitter page.
