Rob Thomson and Carlos Beltran are out of the running for the Yankees’ managerial job, The Post’s Joel Sherman has confirmed.

Thomson, who was Joe Girardi’s bench coach and has been with the Yankees for 28 years, said he was finalizing a deal to become the bench coach for the Phillies. Aaron Boone and Hensley Meulens are the two favorites to land the Yankees’ job.

From Thomson: “Yes I'm out of the running (for #Yankees manager). No hard feelings on my part! It's the business… the Steinbrenners and the Yankee organization have taken great care of me for 28 years!!!! I've been a lucky man!!!!”

#Yankees will miss Thomson. He was a loyal, hard-working guy for NYY for 28 years. He ran spring training annually with military precision. Players trusted and liked him. #Phillies

Beltran, who retired after winning a World Series with the Astros this past season, was the last of the Yankees’ interview and was considered a long shot for the job.
