Carlos Beltran got hurt on a collision at first base and just left the game before the start of the second inning. Beltran got hurt on his infield single in the bottom of the first, colliding with Giants first baseman Rich Aurilia. He crouched down in foul territory afterwards and although trainer Ray Ramirez came out to check on him, Beltran — who was stretching his right leg — stayed in the game and eventually scored a run. But before the top of the second, he was taken out, with Carlos Gomez replacing him in center.

As soon as we get a diagnosis, I’ll let you guys know. Considering Beltran initially stayed in the game, I doubt his injury is serious. This makes all three starting outfielders hurt, by the way.
