Carlos Beltran has not been cleared to resume baseball activities and would be at least a month from a return to the Mets once he is.

Omar Minaya updated Beltran’s status today, saying the center fielder is hitting and running in Port St. Lucie as he continues to recover from offseason knee surgery.

The GM said Beltran is not running full speed and did not give a timetable for his return.
