The Yankees have been forced to shake up their lineup — due to Mark Teixeira’s hamstring injury — for this afternoon’s potentially season-ending Game 5 of the ALCS against the Rangers.

Robinson Cano moves into Teixeira’s No. 3 spot in the order, Marcus Thames is at DH hitting fifth, and Lance Berkman will play first base and bat sixth.

Jorge Posada, who did not start in Game 4, will catch CC Sabathia and bat seventh.
