Lance Berkman will begin his road back to The Bronx tonight a couple hours down I-95 at Trenton’s Waterfront Park, as the first baseman/designated hitter will play for the Double-A Thunder. He has been on the disabled list since August 19 with a sprained right ankle.

Berkman is hitting .176 with no homers and four RBI since he was acquired from the Astros on July 31.
