Bernie Williams will throw out the first pitch at the Yankees’ home opener on Monday, the team announced today.

Also, Whitey Ford and Yogi Berra will be on hand to help pass out World Series rings to the players.

The Yankees’ 2009 championship flag, and flags for each of the 26 World Championships, will be on display, encompassing the roof of the Stadium.

Gates open at 11 a.m. and ceremonies begin at 12:15 p.m. prior to the game against the Angels. Fans are encouraged to arrive early.

Williams, who has not played since the 2006 season, threw out the first pitch prior to Game 6 of the 2009 ALCS.
