Billy Crystal, wearing No. 60 in honor of his imminent birthday, struck out swinging leading off for the Yankees today against the Pirates at Legends Field.

Crystal fouled off the second pitch from Pirates pitcher Paul Malholm and worked the count to 3-1 before missing the final two pitches.

Crystal signed a one-day contract yesterday and will be released after the game.
