The Yankees’ supplemental first-round pick, left-hander Jeremy Bleich, joined fellow top pick Andrew Brackman in struggling out of the gate in the Hawaiian Winter League. Bleich allowed two runs (on a two-run homer) and two hits in 2.2 innings against Honolulu. He also struck out two and walked four. Control clearly was the former Stanford lefty’s biggest issue, as he threw 51 pitches, but managed only 23 for strikes.
