Bobby Valentine has managed to get himself a new job — as a game analyst on ESPN’s “Sunday Night Baseball.”

The ex-Mets skipper will share the booth with Orel Hershiser and play-by-play man Dan Shulman. The network said last month that Jon Miller and Joe Morgan would not return for a 22nd season.

Valentine became a studio analyst for ESPN last year. He managed the Chiba Lotte Marines in Japan’s Pacific League from 2004-09, but took an oh-fer in interviews with the Brewers, Mariners and Marlins this offseason.

“We’ll see what the future has in store,” the 60-year-old Valentine said on a conference call. “I’m going to do everything I can to be excellent at what I’m doing.”

Hershiser joined the booth as a third announcer last season.

Shulman has called baseball on ESPN since 2002 and also teams with Dick Vitale on basketball broadcasts.
