Bri Amaranthus has at least two million reasons to celebrate.

Amaranthus, a Dallas-area sports reporter, is married to Cory Youmans, the Fisher Investments VP who caught Aaron Judge’s 62nd home run ball on Tuesday night at Globe Life Field in Arlington, Texas.

Youmans, who was whisked away by security so MLB officials could authenticate the ball, told reporters that he did not know what his plans were yet.

Judge’s 62nd home run ball is worth $2 million — at a minimum. JP Cohen, the president of Memory Lane, put out that offer on the ball before it was even hit. It remains to be seen what the ball could fetch in an open auction, should that be the path Youmans chooses to pursue.

Amaranthus celebrated the moment on social media.

“THIS IS MY HUSBAND,” she exclaimed on Twitter in a response to a video of Youmans speaking to reporters inside the stadium in Texas.

“That’s my man,” she wrote in an Instagram story that showcased the ball.

Amaranthus covers the Dallas Mavericks and Cowboys for Sports Illustrated. She was previously a host and reporter for NBC Sports Northwest, and was a contestant on the 22nd season of “The Bachelor,” in 2018.

Interestingly, as observed by Resh Manuel, who works in audience insights for TEGNA, a conglomerate of broadcast TV network affiliates, husbands of sports reporters caught Judge’s 61st and 62nd home run balls.
