The Buffalo Bisons, the Mets’ Triple-A affiliate, will play host to the 2012 Triple-A All-Star Game.

Buffalo also played host to the first Triple-A All-Star Game – which pits players from the International League (which roughly covers the eastern half of the country, and includes Buffalo and Scranton/Wilkes Barre, the Yankees affiliate) against the Pacific Coast League (which roughly covers the western half of the country) – back in 1988.
