Yasiel Puig might need to invest in better locks, steel doors and windows, and perhaps a few more safes while he’s at it.
The Dodgers outfielder had his house broken into for the fourth time since last spring Tuesday night, according to TMZ. Cops reportedly were called to Puig’s home in the San Fernando Valley around 8 p.m. while Puig was at Dodger Stadium watching his team play the Rockies.
While the Dodgers later won on a walk-off, Puig was not seen celebrating on the field, perhaps because we was tending to his more pressing personal issue.
According to the report, Puig’s house has a security camera that detects motion and sends the video to a cellphone. A Puig assistant got the alert to his phone during the game, showing three men leaving Puig’s property. They had broken in through the back door by “smashing it open,” though it was not immediately known if they stole anything.
Burglars first broke into Puig’s house last spring when he was at spring training, then during the World Series, and again last month.
