Scranton/Wilkes Barre’s Phil Hughes and St. Lucie’s Nicholas Waechter claimed last week’s Bushes Pitchers of the Week Honors. Hughes solidified his chance to get a start against Detroit tomorrow night after allowing one run in 7.2 innings against Buffalo April 22. He allowed six hits, struck out seven and walked one.

Waechter also allowed one run over five innings to pick up a win against Jupiter April 21. He gave up four hits, struck out six and walked none.
