Luis Castillo is listed as day-to-day by the Mets after suffering what the team described as a mild sprain of his right ankle Tuesday night in a dugout accident.

Castillo, who has been one of the Mets’ top hitters all season, twisted his ankle trying to avoid a glove that had been placed on one of the dugout steps.
