A bleeding Mets right fielder Ryan Church suffered a mild concussion and had to be helped off the field following the final out of tonight’s 6-2 loss to the Braves in Game 2 after taking Yunel Escobar’s knee to his head on a force play at second. Church, who was taken to nearby Piedmont Hospital for tests, already has suffered one concussion this season after colliding with teammate Marlon Anderson in spring training. The Mets don’t know yet how long Church might be sidelined.
