Leading off with “The truth is the truth,” Roger Clemens finally gave answers to questions from readers of Houstonist.com.

The Web site says it worked for five weeks to set up the Q&A session, which Clemens eventually conducted via e-mail. The project was initiated by Clemens after an ESPN Radio interview last month.

Answering nine questions, and signing off with “Peace in the MIddle East,” Clemens addressed reader questions on Brian McNamee, writing a book, his son Koby’s career, and baseball drug-testing policy, among others.
