The Houston Chronicle reports that Roger Clemens would be welcome at the Astros’ minicamp at Minute Maid Park next week.

“Roger very much appreciates the Astros standing by him,” agent Randy Hendricks told the paper in an e-mail. “He would love to attend and be with the kids. Right now he is considering whether his appearance would be a distraction, so he will decide in the future. He has known for some time that he is welcome.”
