As bad as things might appear behind Johan Santana, at least the Mets have Santana. And they don’t have Jamie Moyer and Joe Blanton, Brett Myers and Chan Ho Park. Even Cole Hamels, who is supposed to be the Phillie counter to Santana, has been inflicted with Philadelphia’s post-championship starting blahs. Right now, it is an epidemic; the Phillies look as if they have five Ollie Perezes going round and round.
