MIAMI — One of the more remarkable days (and not in a good way) in the Mets’ recent sad-sack history Tuesday featured two season-ending injuries, a possibly a third and the trade of their former All-Star closer. Oh, and a 2-1 loss to the Marlins, as if it matters anymore. Whew!
