SAN FRANCISCO — Johan Santana vs. Randy Johnson might have been something of a a bust Saturday, but the happy outcome sure wasn’t for the surging Mets. They have won 12 of their last 14 after finally giving Santana run support on a day he would need it, resulting in a 9-6 decision here over the Giants. Carlos Delgado finally went on the DL, and it looks as if his stay could be a long one.

In the notes, the Mets hope to have Jose Reyesback in the lineup today.
