BALTIMORE — Fresh off their 15-0 embarrassment in The Bronx, the Mets showed some nice bounce-back by holding off the Orioles here Tuesday night. Baltimore’s three errors paved the way for the 6-4 victory in the Mets’ first visit to Camden Yards since 2001. It’s the one-year anniversary of Willie Randolph‘s firing, and colleague Mike Vaccaro says the Mets are better off with Jerry Manuel.

Johan Santana is no fan of Rick Peterson‘s rumor-mongering about the pitcher’s knee.

In the notes, Manuel says his one year at the helm has “felt like 10.”
