It was a double-bird kind of day for Cubs manager David Ross.

In a now-viral video, Ross can be seen holding up two middle fingers while standing in the dugout during Thursday’s 4-2 loss to the Giants.

Though it’s unclear exactly who Ross was flipping off to, the internet had a field day trying to guess who was on the receiving end. In fact, the new Ross memes are quite entertaining.

“This is how I feel about the Cubs as the trade deadline approaches too, David Ross,” one person tweeted, referencing the MLB trade deadline on Aug. 2 in which Chicago is expected to be a seller.

It’s possible Ross was frustrated with the Giants’ Alex Wood’s no-hitter into the seventh inning that led to San Fransisco’s victory over Chicago — which snapped the Cubs’ six-game winning streak.

“He’s really deceptive, mixes pitches really well,” Ross said about Wood. “We chased a little bit out of the zone in some hitter’s counts at times, but he’s a really tough pitcher.”

The Giants will host the Cubs again on Friday night in the second of a three-game series.
