Though Curt Schilling failed to be elected into the Hall of Fame again, at least he knows he didn’t squander his talent like fellow former pitcher Sidney Ponson.

Too bad Schilling doesn’t know how to spot a fake Twitter account.

After Schilling received 45 percent of the vote in Wednesday’s balloting — a drop from 2016’s take of 52.3 percent after a year of toxic controversies — a fake account attributed to Ponson “congratulated” the former ace about making the Hall of Fame.

Is this the fat ass underachieving former MLB pitcher who pissed away a potentially HOF career? Well done. #lazyassunderachieverhttps://t.co/yRYAeQDan9

Schilling then ripped into Ponson’s weight and underachievement and DUI arrests, ignoring the account clearly states it isn’t actually Ponson, a 12-season veteran who appeared for the Yankees in 2006 and 2008.

When several people alerted Schilling he was not ripping the real Ponson, the outspoken and controversial Schilling adamantly maintained the fake account was legit.

Don't care, know for a fact it is.
