It was a swing and a big miss.

A father-to-be struck out amongst TikTok users when the mother of his child posted a gender-reveal video showing him hitting a ball filled with blue powder and then immediately celebrating with his friends while she awkwardly stands to the side.

Hannah Calverley, 18, shared the video of her pitching the baseball to the future papa, her boyfriend Travis Gober, 19. He then hits the baseball and upon seeing blue, immediately runs over to his friends without even embracing the woman carrying his child.

The video — captioned, “We’re sooo ready to meet you” — was a knock out of the park, going viral with 21.2 million views in under a week and more than 63,000 comments.

The crowd, however, did not go wild for Gober and his pals’ immediate dismissal of the mother-to-be.

“Um no what about the mother of the child,” commented one user.

“I’m happy for you but momma he straight up looked at them first he had no intentions cheering with you first,” wrote another.

“Should be a moment between the ma and dad first before ‘the boys,’ ” chimed in another user.

The mother-to-be opened up about the not-so-sportsmanlike dis in a follow-up video, but still defended her boyfriend’s action.

“I didn’t think anything bad about it until I started reading the comments,” Calverley told Today.

“What people didn’t see was how he came over and gave me a huge hug and a kiss right after. We were so overjoyed and excited.”

Calverley told E! News that she was shocked to read all the negative comments.

“I do know that social media has a tendency to only see the negative, so I wasn’t too surprised that people would only see the bad parts of the video.”

Father-to-be Gober also apologized for his actions, assuring that he is in love with his girlfriend and that he regrets the video showed otherwise.

Several users slammed Gober saying that he should have paid more attention to the woman carrying his child.

“I know I love my girlfriend, so it’s been crazy to see how much hate people have been giving me and my teammates.”

The couple has plans to wed, but since Calverley is due in October, they may hold off planning a wedding.
